Examination requirement
To earn the PMI-ACP designation, participants must have:
- Secondary degree
- 21 contact hours of training in agile practices
- 12 months of general project experience within the last 5 years. A current PMP® or PgMP® will satisfy this requirement but is not required to apply for the PMI-ACP
- 8 months of agile project experience within the last 3 years
Examination cost
Non-member: US$ 435.00
Member (PMI): US$ 495.00 (Membership Fee: $139)
Taking the Exam
The total test time for the PMI-ACP certification exam is 3 hours.

Only 100 of the 120 questions will be graded toward your score. The remaining 20 are test questions and are not graded. The exam is administered by Computer Based Test (CBT)
