The Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) which is the highest ranked project management certification by the Project Management Institute'(PMI) signifies advanced competency in the coordinated management of one or more portfolios to achieve strategic objectives. Portfolio Management is the most effective way to implement strategic initiatives, it bridges the gap between strategy and implementation. Organizations with mature project portfolio management practices complete 35 percent more of their programs successfully.

Chinedu is a programme manager for the Conflict Management and Stabilization, Lake Chad Basin/North East Nigeria Portfolio in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)  and has vast experience in program and project management with over a decade history of working in international development both at the donor and INGO level including Department for International Development (DFID), Cambridge Education, Research Triangular Institute (RTI), ActionAid International Nigeria and Voluntary Service Oversea (VSO). These achievements were made possible by the support of my organisation, UK’ FCDO, my team members and also the immense application, training and mentorship support of Femi Adegbulube (PPMC Inc. Canada) and Taopheek Babayeju (iCentra, Nigeria)” says the obviously elated Chinedu.
